How it all got started
Many times great ideas happen by accident and fortunately for Alberto “Beto” Perez he had the “happiest accident” of his life. He was running late for his aerobics class and forgot his music so he decided to improvise using a mix from the tapes he had in his backpack. His music consisted of the salsa and merengue music he grew up with and he spontaneously developed a new kind of dance-fitness. His focus was on letting the music move you and his class loved it! From that day, the revolutionary fitness concept was born – the Zumba Fitness-Party.
