TRX suspension training ® is a great, low-impact option to build lean muscle, boost metabolism and tighten your core along with increasing your endurance. The TRX ® is different than other strength based workouts because it uses multiple planes of motion that work muscles and joints together, which helps to avoid injury. Suspension training is a form of functional training that utilizes your body weight to perform hundreds of different exercises. You can also control the intensity of the workout by adjusting your body position and angle.

The History of the TRX ®

The TRX ® was designed by a Navy Seal who wanted to do strength training workouts, but did not have equipment where he was stationed. Without much room to work with, he took two parachute cables and suspended them from the ceiling. He used this revolutionary method of leveraged body weight exercise to build power, strength, flexibility, balance and mobility while preventing injuries.
